Brock University is a public research university in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Brock University is one of Canada’s top post-secondary institutions. Located in historic Niagara region, Brock offers all the benefits of a young and modern university in a safe, community-minded city with beautiful natural surroundings. Brock offers a wide range of programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including professional degrees. Brock was ranked third among Canadian universities in the undergraduate category for research publication output and impact indicators in 2008. 

Brock's Glen ridge campus was officially opened on October 19, 1964 with Gibson as the university's founding president. Brock's known for a highly-rated student experience, Brock offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs across seven faculties. Brock is a leader in experiential education and trans-disciplinary research, is home to 10 Canada Research Chairs, and Canada's only university with a CL3 containment lab.

The university has 2 campuses. St Catharine campus and Hamilton campus. Residences at Brock are home to almost 2,800 students. St Catharine is also the main campus of Brock University. Other than this students have the options of living off-campus.
